I've just been booked for my first dj set a week on saturday, then i
realised i don't have an intro to play :-O
then i was looking at what would make a good introduction, cause i
like the idea of being able to play a prerecorded intro and then being
able to mingle with the crowd, so i can get an early feel for what
sort of people they are.
does anybody have any ideas how to make an intro, what sort of songs
to use?
I'm doing a three hour house set mixing in some top 40 tunes and
possibly moving the style on to dub-step or even cheesey pop later on
in the night, just for my friends house party, so therefore it wont be
a crowd that have come specifically to listen to house tracks so i
need to keep it pretty neutral and try to stray away from playing 40
minutes of songs no one will of heard before :- i just need a little
bit of guidance :- please help.
, for the record i have no problems switching between styles, and i
can mix, im lost h trying to build an intro, what music to play
exactly like i can belt out top 40 and anthems all night can i ? and
just need some words of advice :-)
