Disney preps 'Muppets' follow up

Disney's 'The Muppets' made a lot more than $150 million in the worldwide box office.Disney is continuing to move forward having a follow up to "The Muppets" following the return of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and buddies continued to earn a lot more than $154.8 million in the worldwide box office. James Bobin, who helmed "The Muppets," and co-author Nicholas Stoller will write the script for that follow up. First film required home the Oscar for the best song on Sunday for "Guy or Muppet." Bret McKenzie composed the tune. Kermit and Miss Piggy had already introduced the follow up upon an worldwide tour for that first film, stating that the follow-up was formally continuing to move forward throughout a February. 13 appearance on ITV's "Today" daytime talker. Jason Segel, who had been instrumental to get the very first film made and co-authored the script with Stoller, may star within the follow up, but his various projects (including CBS' "The Way I Met Your Mother" and flicks "5 Year Engagement" and "This Really Is 40") are keeping him too busy to pen the follow up. "The Muppets" was created by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman.
